General Call for Papers

Intersections. East European Journal of Society and Politics (IEEJSP) is continuously accepting original research papers across the disciplines of political science, sociology, social anthropology and minority studies.

IEEJSP is a peer reviewed journal promoting multidisciplinarity and comparative thinking on Eastern and Central European politics and societies in a global context. Founded by the Centre for Social Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest, Hungary, it provides an international forum for scholars investigating political and social phenomena within and beyond the region.

IEEJSP publishes research articles of international relevance and encourages both inter- and intra-regional comparative analysis. It is indexed by Scopus, CEEOL, ERIH, Google Scholar, and Index Copernicus.  It has been ranked Q2 (for 2018) by ScimagoJR.

IEEJSP considers original manuscripts presenting high-quality research. We are committed to the principle of open access. All accepted manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review based on initial editorial screening and refereeing by at least two anonymous scholars.
